About industrial and economic environ-ics
The peer—reviewed monograph attempts to contribute to the development of a new field in science - environmental science, which examines the issues of human interaction with the environment (economic, technical and natural) and the reverse process of its influence on humans. We can agree with the statement that new management methods are needed that would ensure the harmonization of the development of society and nature, economy and ecology. N. Belopolsky is right that man and the environment are an integrated system that includes all phases of reproduction and economic processes taking place both inside and outside the country.
The monograph substantiates the importance of understanding and using the laws of the environment of production and economic systems, which the author grouped by types of processes, highlighting the most important: the organization of production and economic activities, the definition of ways to develop and improve public relations, economic, technological, social, natural, ecological and functional. The most complex interactions occurring within production systems are multivariate and strictly targeted. The level of organization of the production system affects the efficiency of the functioning of business units and the rational relationships between them, as well as ensuring the progress of production processes.
The monograph shows the effect of the laws of environmental science in economic and social processes, their interrelationships in a variety of forms of ownership of the means of production. It is important to note that the author emphasizes the urgency of man's cardinal turn to nature, the need to preserve and restore it in every possible way, and the inadmissibility of continuing to "fight" against it, especially at the present stage of the transformation of our society.
N. Belopolsky revealed the essence of the science of environ-ics in relation to the production and economic system and its environment, revealed the result of their interaction, substantiated the position that the laws of environ—ics represent a special type of laws of the development of society - the relationship between the system and the environment, proposed ways to improve economic relations in the context of perestroika.
The use of the recommendations and conclusions of the reviewed monograph in business practice will ensure the identification of the impact of the main factors (positive and negative) on the functioning of production systems and will make it possible to make management decisions that will increase the safety and efficiency of public production and to a certain extent reduce the likelihood of environmental damage.
There are certain disadvantages to this work. Thus, it would be necessary to further explore the role of economic relations in the regulated market system in connection with the changing economic conditions, which should be met by a new social policy aimed at protecting human interests. It would be quite logical to consider in more detail the main forms of expression of the laws of the environment during the privatization of property at the present stage of the transition period to market relations. This issue is especially important for understanding the further development of social and industrial systems, the realization of human abilities, and the creation of vital social guarantees. It is necessary to conduct a deeper analysis of the problems under study, taking into account the need to improve environmental processes and the dialectical unity of nature and society. GSCORUN
